This workshop is perfect for gardeners of all skill levels who want to learn how to start their own seeds and care for their seedlings. With over 16 years of experience we will provide you with the knowledge and skills you need to grow healthy, thriving plants from seed. 

In this workshop, you will learn:

• The unique climate and weather patterns of the southeast region and how they affect seed starting
• How to select high-quality seeds that are appropriate for this climate zone
• Different techniques for seed starting and the advantages and disadvantages of each
• Step-by-step instructions for starting seeds indoors, including soil preparation, sowing seeds, and watering
• Step-by-step instructions for transplanting seedlings outdoors
• How to care for and maintain seedlings, including watering, fertilizing, and pest and disease control
• Common problems that may arise and how to address them
• How to start different types of seeds, including vegetables, herbs, and flowers
• Plant based refreshments 
• Go home with a seed tray full of veggie seeds
